GIEDA (Gwadar Industrial Estate Development Authority):

Government of Balochistan has launched a project which is 40 years tax with the name of GIEDA in Gwadar. Society is designed on 3000 acers , this state of the art industrial complex will provide industrial plots, warehouses and commercials. This project is announced in Mouza Karwat, Gwadar. It is another superb project by Govt. of Balochistan. 1st One was Sangar, 2nd Newtown and this Free port Industrial Estate is the 3rd Government Project. GIEDA is developed for small, medium and large enterprises to cater the industrial needs in Gwadar and provide friendly atmosphere for the investors. Gwadar Industrial Estate is an important part of CPEC project as it is the one & only government owned industrial project, having 2 main access from the Makran Costal Highway.

 

In addition, large manufacturing industries, warehouses, mechanical plants and many other commercial factories would be expected in Gwadar industrial zone. Major Business are as follow:

GIEDA  consists of 3 phases. Phase 1 includes 6 blocks, phase 2 includes 4 blocks and phase 3 consists of 3 blocks. Phase 3 is recently launched in Feb, 2017. And first 2 blocks are launched in 2003 to 2005 and 2006 to 2007 respectively. Most of the transactions are being carried out in phase 3 as it is comparatively low price than the other two blocks. A new project “ExpressBay” is launched to connect port with national highway through roads and rail network which is intersecting in front of GIEDA. Which makes Gieda’s location more strategic than the rest of the projects. Most important thing is, all the amenities are provided by the Government which includes water, road network and power transmission.
